A shredder is a machine used for coarse shredding. It is generally used to process unprocessed raw materials or scraps in the recycling industry to make them smaller in size. Compared with other crushers, the cutter shaft speed is low, the noise is low, and the energy consumption is low.
A representative example is to shred plastic or rubber scraps and use them as raw materials to melt and pelletize them to re-make plastic bottles, tires or trash cans, etc. Shredders are used in the plastic recycling industry and are often used to crush waste large-diameter PE plastic pipes, bundled plastic films, large stacks of plastic sheets and machine head materials. Shredder applications generally include:
●Shred unqualified products into smaller pieces for recycling.
●Reduce the volume of unprocessed raw materials so that they can be mixed with other materials.
●Shred organic matter to make biofuel.
●Shred some textile materials to facilitate fiber reuse, such as carpet shredding.
